Mortgage Best Buys

Mortgage rates have levelled in the last week, some lenders entering the sub 4% market for 5-year fixed on low loan to value mortgage (under 60%) and lenders starting to compete-hard on price. I’d anticipate more ‘Lender Price Wars” wars’ in the coming weeks, this can only be good for consumers in the short-term but unsure of the longevity of lenders being able to cope with margins diminishing given where SWAP and BoE base rate is sat. Time will tell, in the meantime as Advisers all we can continue to do is advise on our clients circumstances to allow them to make informed decisions on the most suitable products for them.
